Michael spent over 40 years of his career in business. During this time, he had the opportunity to work for companies whose values ranged from having strong social and moral values to those who lived by “it’s only business nothing personal”, were cold and exploitative driven only by the profit motive. After retirement he made the decision to use his education, and the skills learned throughout his career to support small business and nonprofit organizations. Similarly, having experienced working in human services and business environments, James realized that he is driven more by a desire to serve than a career strictly focused on the profit motive.
